Tips and Useful Information
Your key is necessary to enter into the building and the swimming pool/fitness areas so always take it with you!
Parking Reservations:
In order to improve parking services and guest convenience the HOA has implemented a new Valet Only parking system for the underground, heated garage. The rate is still $16/day. However, to confirm your space you must make reservations prior to your arrival to have your spot guaranteed.
Please visit: www.SlopeSideValet.com and click on the “Village at Breckenridge HOA” tab to make your reservations. They will require a credit card at the time of the reservation and the full amount will be charged. It is refundable should your travel plans change. There is public self park but is not guaranteed and can be a far walk.
Pool/Hot Tubs/Fitness Area:
Towels are provided so no need to bring any from the condo. You can access the facility underground through the garage. Walk to the green parking section as if exiting the garage and you will see a sign to a door leading up to the Fitness Area.
Washing Machines/Dryers: Coin operated. Quarters needed – change is available at the main lobby front desk at the Village at Breckenridge. We always leave detergent under the sink but if there is none, detergent is available from a vending machine in the Fitness Center along with other sundries. There is a washing machine/dryer on every floor.
Ski Rentals:
Breeze Ski Rentals www.skirentals.com is located in the same building as our condo. You can save 25% on your ski rentals if you book online. Additionally, they allow you to store your skis and boots in the store so you don’t have to bring them up to the condo. You can literally go downstairs in your slippers!! Alternatively, for added convenience, you can use a delivery service like Ski Butlers that will deliver customized skis to the condo.
Lift Tickets:
You can save money on lift tickets if you purchase them online at www.breckenridge.snow.com 7 days prior to your arrival. They will mail them to you. If however, you do not receive them before you leave, you can print out the email confirmation they send you and bring that to the ticket booth instead. Once on Breckenridge’s website, click “Mountain” then “Lift Tickets.” Additionally, discounted tickets are available at Colorado grocery stores. If you plan to ski more than 4-5 days, the Epic Pass may be a good purchase.
Ski School:
Three locations on the mountain but the closest and most convenient is the Village at Breckenridge location just outside the condo. If booking online it is the “Village” location on the drop down menu. Children must be at least 3 and potty trained. Children's Ski & Ride School
Child Care/Nursery:
Breckenridge resort offers childcare from 8 weeks to 5 years in 3 locations on the mountains. The most convenient is the Village at Breckenridge location. If booking online it is the “Village Child Care” location on the drop down menu. Reservations are essential and booking online early is important to guarantee space and receive a lower daily rate. Groceries:
In Denver: King Soopers just West of Denver at exit #264 off of I-70. King Soopers is located in the Applewood Village Shopping Center at 3400 Youngfield St, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 (303-238-6486). You can use our phone number (970-547-2474) at check-out to take advantage of the Sooper Card pricing. NOTE: You can buy discount lift tickets here (if you haven't bought them online at least seven days prior to your arrival - see above).
In Town: The best grocery store in Breckenridge (there are only two!) is City Market on N. Park Ave. Once you turn right onto Park Ave from Hwy 9, the City Market will be in the shopping center on your left (turn left at the stop light where the Loaf N' Jug gas station is located) - If you have a Kroger/King Sooper/City Market discount card, make sure to bring it as prices are definitely higher in the mountains and every savings count. If you do not have one of these cards, you can give our 2 bedroom condo phone number of 970-547-2474 at checkout to receive the discounts. This is also the only pharmacy in town. There is a City Liquors liquor store next door to City Market that has a reasonable wine and beer selection. Remember that beer alcohol content is less when bought in grocery stores.

Expensive: The Hearthstone, Modis, Ember, Relish
Moderate: Blue River Bistro, South Ridge Seafood Grill
Casual/Great for Kids: Mi Casa, Breckenridge Brewery, Quandry Grill
Bakery: La Française French Bakery. Delicious crepes, sandwiches, coffee and French pastries.
Nice Outdoor Seating: Kenosha Steak House, Quandry Grill.
Activities for Kids:

• Carter Park for sledding (or just outside the condo for gentle hills)
• Ice Skating at Stephen E. West Ice Arena
• Children’s Mountain Top Museum at the Village at Breckenridge
• Horse Sleigh Ride (Dinner/Entertainment or Hot Chocolate) with Breckenridge Riding Stables (leaves from ski slope just outside condo) at Beaver Run Resort
• Ready, Paint, Fire! Pottery & Painting
• Snow Tubing at Frisco Adventure Park (reservations recommended!)
